Physical property:
The physical property of PAM is mainly depended on the behavior in the aqueous solution.
The outstanding feature is high hydrophilic—can soluble in water by all kinds of proportion.
Its water solution can bear electrolyte well, such as not sensitive to sodium sulfate and
ammonia chloride, and is compatible to surfactant.

Chemical reaction:
Side group of molecular-chain of PAM is activated amide group that can generate many
derivatives through chemical reaction, but it can’t proceed completely because of the
adjacent gene reaction.

Cationic Polyacrylamide flocculant application:
1.As a flocculating agent, mainly used in industrial solid-liquid separation rocess, including settlement, to clarify, concentrate and sludge dewatering processes, applications for all the major sectors are: urban sewage treatment, food processing, petrochmical, metallurgical, processing, dyeing and the sugar and all kinds of industrial wastewater treatment.
2.In the paper industry can be as dry strengh agents, retention agents, filter aids, can be greatly improved as paper quality, enhance the physical strength of paper and reduce the loss of fiber or filler to accelerate the treatment, since enhanced retention to help filter effect can also be used in the treatment of white water at the same time, in the drinking process can play a significant flocculation.
