Characteristics and Applications

The Neutral Protease is a solid enzyme derived from Bacillus Subtilis fermentation. Neutral Protease can hydrolyze the protein into soluble peptides. It can be applied to leather molting and softening, silk de-gumming, film silver recovery, as well as in medicine industry.

Definition of activity
1 unit equals the amount of enzyme which produces 1.0 ug tyrosin hydrolyzed by 1.0 g solid enzyme of Neutral Protease at 30, pH7.5 in 1minute, and sign as u/g.

Neutral Protease is produced in powder form with water content less then 8%. The product is available in 20kg or 30 kg sacks containing 2kg plastic bags. The production activity is 50000u/g

Application
1. Leather molting: molting used enzyme (35-42, PH7.5, 20-25u/ml) →washing the leather→ soaking the leather in acid liquid→ tanning
2. Film silver recovery: 45 pH 7.0-7.5 Recovered by 20-23u/ml
3. Silk de-gumming: pretreatment→ dehydration→ treating with acid liquid(Protease18-24u/ml, soap 0.75%, 48-50, 30-60min, pH7-8)→ dehydration→de-gumming→ washing→ dehydration→ fluffing→ drying→ fluffing
4. Medicine industry: 1398 Neutral Protease has capability to disintegrate poly-saccachride, it can wipe off phlegm. It can be applied to treat Chronic bronchitis,Bronchiectasis,Cough and so on. The products have a good effect on adhesion, decrustation, thrombophlebitis.
5. Forage Enzyme: a compound enzyme mixed by neutral protease, α-amylase, Acid protease, Cellulase, Glucoamylase. These products can be wildly used in feeding suckling pig, grown pig, poultry and fish. After adding forge enzyme into the feedstuff, materiel can be decomposed to small unit through controlling temperature , humidity and pH. In the smalls scale breeding, forge enzyme can be directly mixed with the feedstuff, which should equably distribute in the feedstuff. The dosage is 0.11.0% of the feedstuff.

Storage and transportation
The products should be kept dry and cold, keep away from light. Avoid sunshine and drenching in the transportation. When stored at 25,the product will retain 85% of its activity for 6 month.
