Introduction of Polyacrylamide
Polyacrylamide (PAM) is water-soluble polymer, not insoluble in most organic solvents, has the feature
of good flocculation , can reduce the friction between liquid, they can be divided into four types by
ion characteristic they are nonionic, anion and cation and bisexual type .
Application
1)In papermaking process ,can improve the wet strength ,used for retention aid agent, intensifier.
2)Used for coagulant, flocculation agent, sludge dehydrating agents in water treatment.
3)Used for drop agent and driving agent in oil exploration
4)PAM is also widely used for thickening, stable friction reduction, colloid, binding, film, biomedical
materials etc.

Cautions
