Product Application: with vinyl double bond within the molecule it can copolymerize with other monomers to produce copolymers with hydroxy group in the side chain. And these structures are readily undergo across-linking reaction. The most important application of HEMA is production of coatings. It copolymerizes with monomers such as styrene, methyl methacrylate, butyl acrylate and methacrylic acid and etc. produce coatings and primers for auto applications. Also in applications of resins, porous metal parts, sealants and caulks and other adhesives formulations.
