is a kind of indicator desiccant. the indicator is cobalt (II) chloride, present in a concentration of 0.5 to 1% weight for weight on the amorphous silica gel.



Color:
blue or light blue.Including blue gel indicator, chronotropic silica gel and blue silica gel.Turning from blue to purple to pink after absorbing moistures.



Use:
Mainly used for absorbing moisture, gauges and equipment in the enclosed conditions. Firstly, a silica gel sachet or breather unit where the
gel has changed colour, gives an immediate warning that it should be
replaced. Secondly, if regenerating the silica gel, the self-indicating grade will
be ready for reuse, when its original colour has returned
