Seawater Molluscs Biocide BT1103
Effectively kill all mollusks
Control broad-spectrum microorganisms
Biodegradable, environment-friendly
Descriptions:
BT1103 is special designed for seawater or freshwater once-through cooling system, killing the molluscs, such as shellfish, barnacle, hydra and so on. BT1103 main active ingredient is a variety of ammonium salt . It is less or light yellow liquid, PH in 8-9.
BT1103 is amine salt non-oxidizing boicide, and no irritant. The shellfishes won’t close when this biocide works, so it is easy to kill them.
After treatment, there will be a clean, smooth film formed on the pipeline, in the next 2 ~ 8 weeks, this film will prevent the larvae and their egg growing.

Charactristic:
(1) selectivity. This chemical can kill the shellfishes , clams and algaes quickly, but no harmfull influences on fish and shrimp .
(2) perfect biodegradability. The degradation materials of BT1103 are carbon dioxide and water, so the treated water can be discharged into sea directly.
Dosing and use requirement:
Discontinuous dosing: From May- October , dose the BT1103 once a week. Other time, dose it once every two weeks . The dosage is 4mg/l, continuous treat for six hours. If pollution is serious, dose 6mg/L for eight hours treating. If pollution is very serious, dosage and dosing time can be appropriately increased.
Useing BT1103 combined with sodium hypochlorite will be much more effective. Note: after adding BT1103 for treating , then the next day sodium hypochlorite can be added to the system, not the same time with BT1103.
Storage and packing
Shelf life: 2 years Packed in 25Kg plastic drum or according to client’s request.
