Application
:
The strong ionic forces of the divalent calcium ion makes it an excellent adsorbent to remove water, CO2, H2S from sour natural gas streams, while minimising COS formation. Light mercaptans are also adsorbed.
It is also used for the separation of normal- and iso paraffins.
Production of high purity N2, O2, H2 and inert gases from mixed gas streams.
Regeneration
:
Molecular sieve Type 5A can be regenerated by either heating in the case of thermal swing processes; or by lowering the pressure in the case of pressure swing processes.
To remove moisture from a 5A molecular sieve, a temperature of 250-300°C is required. A properly regenerated molecular sieve can give moisture dew points below -100°C, or mercaptan or CO2 levels below 2 ppmv.
The outlet concentrations on a pressure swing process will depend on the gas present, and on the conditions of the process.
5A - Zeolites are available in beads of 1-2 mm, (10x18 mesh) 2-3 mm, (8x12 mesh) , 2.5-5 mm, (4x8 mesh) and as powder, and in pellet 1.6, 3.2.

3, the solid product can absorb the water easily, but there is no effect in using Pac because of absorbing. we suggest that you store it in a place that is both dry and ventilated place.

It is highly recommended for water containing systems with PH 2-9. It also can be used to formulate many different concentrations of CMIT/MIT.

Typical use concentrations are in the range of Grade I: 0.02-0.3 %( w/w) and Grade II: 0.1-0.6 %(w/w) in the final products. It should be noticed that a good manufacturing practices should be applied and equipment, pipes, and storage tanks should be sanitized by CMIT/MIT 14 regularly.
Attention:
Use of personal protective equipment such as chemical impervious gloves for hands, safety goggles and shields for eye are strongly advised. If the produce comes in contact with the skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. The product should be stored at room temperature.
Packing and storage:

When used as sludge stripper for grade II, the dosage of 150-300mg/L is preferred, when used as boicide, the dosage of 80-100mg/L is preferred, and charges every 3-7 days.
